In a primetime showdown, signal-caller Brock Purdy delivered a standout performance, throwing a career-best five touchdown passes to propel his team to a commanding forty-eight to twenty-seven victory. The victorious effort was sealed by a key 74-yard interception return for a score.

Offensive Fireworks Lead the Way

Purdy was exceptionally efficient, connecting on 25 of his 34 attempts for 295 yards. His primary weapons featured star running back Christian McCaffrey, who gained 117 yards on 21 carries and also hauled in six passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. Receiver George Kittle also excelled, securing seven receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Postseason Landscape Taking Shape

The visiting quarterback, in his second appearance after a five-year absence, posted a valiant effort, passing for 277 yards and two touchdowns. However, a late turnover taken to the house ultimately decided the contest.
